Bacon & Cheddar Sausage Omelette

    eggs

    Dalisa sausage (Bacon & Cheddar flavour)

  • 1 tsp

    of milk

  • 1/4 cup

    of grated mozzarella cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. With the help of an adult, remove the casing from the sausages.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage meat and using a wooden spoon, break it up into small pieces. Cook for about 7 minutes until the meat is cooked through. Reserve in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, break the eggs, add the milk, salt and pepper and mix with a whisk.
  4. In the same pan, pour half of the egg mixture. Cook the omelette for about 2 minutes, then turn it over with a spatula.
  5. On one half of the omelette, add half the sausages and half the cheese.
  6. Using a spatula, fold the unstuffed side over the garnished portion of the omelette. Cook for about 1 minute then slide onto a plate.
  7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 for the 2nd omelette.
  8. Enjoy with fruit and a toast for a complete lunch.
