Cesar Salad

Ingredients

Crouton

  • 3 slices

    of white bread

  • 2 tbsp

    olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp

    garlic powder

Dressing

  • 2

    egg yolks

  • 2 tbsp

    of fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tsp

    of anchovy paste

  • 1 tbsp

    of capers

  • 1

    small garlic clove

  • 1/2 cup

    of olive oil

Salad

  • 1

    large romaine lettuce

  • 1/3 cup

    of grated Parmesan

  • 8 slices

    of bacon, cooked and crumbled

Preparation

Crouton

  1. Slice the bread into 2 cm cubes. In a large bowl, put the bread cubes, olive oil and garlic powder. Mix well.
  2. Bake at 350 ° F for 5 to 10 minutes or until the croutons are crispy. Reserve.

Dressing

  1. In a food processor or mixer, combine all the dressing ingredients (except olive oil) for 1 minute.
  2. Leave the robot running and pour the oil in a stream. The sauce will become creamy.

Salad

  1. Wash and wring out the lettuce. Roughly cut with a knife or with your hands. Place in a large bowl.
  2. Add the Parmesan, croutons, bacon and sauce as needed and mix well. Serve immediately.
