  • Servings — 4

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup

    of white wine

  • 200 g

of Oka cheese (without the rind)

  • 200 g

    of Swiss cheese

  • 200 g

of Providence d’Oka cheese (without the rind)

  • 200 g

    of medium cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp

    of cornstarch

  • 1

    garlic clove, cut in 2

Sides

  • 1 package

of Dalisa sausages of your choice (boiled and sliced)

  • Green apples or pears, in cubes

  • Baby potatoes (pre-cooked)

  • Bread in cubes (white, with nuts, with onion, with seeds, the possibility are endless)

  • Any other fruit, vegetable or meat that inspires you!

Preparation

  1. Rub the fondue pot with the garlic clove to give it a good garlic taste.
  2. Cut the cheeses in cubes (or grated them).
  3. Mix cornstarch and wine.
  4. Add the cheese to the fondue pot and let melt slowly. Add the wine and cornstarch. Mix well.
  5. If the fondue seems too thick, gradually add more wine. Or, if it is too runny, add more cheese or a mix of cornstarch and wine to thicken. A teaspoon of fresh lemon juice can also help bind your cheeses as needed.
  6. Stir regularly during dinner.
