Ingredients
Pocket Pizzas

1 package of Dalisa Bacon & Cheddar sausages (900g)

3/4 cup pizza sauce

450g pizza dough
-
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
Egg wash

1 egg
-
2 tsp milk
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the casings from the sausages and shape the meat into 6 patties.
- Divide the pizza dough into 6 equal parts. On a lightly floured surface, roll each part of dough into an oval shape.
- Place the patties on the rolled-out dough and cover each patty with pizza sauce.
- Top each patty with cheddar cheese, then fold the dough over to make pocket pizzas.
- Place the pocket pizzas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the egg and milk. Brush the mixture over the tops of the pocket pizzas.
- Sprinkle with extra cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then finish cooking under the broiler for a crispier top.
- Cut in half and enjoy!
