Garlic and Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 6-7

    potatoes (about 1 pound)

  • 6

    garlic cloves, peeled

  • 113 g

    of cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup

    of butter

  • 1/3 cup

    of milk

  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into one-inch cubes.
  2. Place the potatoes and peeled garlic cloves in a large saucepan. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a fork passes easily through the cubes. The potatoes should be very tender.
  3. Drain and return to the pot.
  4. Add the butter, cream cheese, milk, salt and pepper. Mash with a potato masher. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
