Grilled Sausage and Mango Salad

Ingredients

Mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup

    of store-bought mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp

    of lime juice

  • 1 tbsp

    of Dijon mustard

Salad

  • 4

    Dalisa Hot Italian sausages

  • 1/2

    fennel bulb, thinly sliced

  • 4 cups

    of baby spinach

  • 1/2 cup

    of fresh basil leaves

  • 2

    mangoes, peeled and halved

  • A few

    sprouts (like snow peas)

  • 2 tbsp

    of olive oil

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl, mix the ingredients for the mayonnaise. Reserve.
  2. In a large bowl, combine spinach, fennel, sprouts, basil and olive oil. Reserve.
  3. On the BBQ, cook the sausages for 15 minutes, turning them often. Grill the mangoes for about 2 minutes on each side. Slice the mangoes and sausages into pieces.
  4. Mix the mayonnaise with the salad. Divide everything on four plates.
