Lentil and Coq au porc Soup

  • 2

    onions, finely chopped

    garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 3

    carrots cut into small pieces

  • 2

    celery stalks, thinly sliced

  • 1

    zucchini, cut into pieces

  • ½ cup

    of rice

  • 2

    Dalisa coqs au porc

  • 10 cups

    of chicken broth

  • 1

    can of lentils

  • 2 cups

    of frozen chopped spinach

  • Parsley to taste

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Olive oil


  1. Heat the olive oil in the pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onions, garlic, carrots, and celery. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and continue cooking, stirring regularly for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the rice and mix well with the vegetables and olive oil.
  4. Add the chicken broth and the Coq au porc. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low, add the pieces of zucchini, spinach, parsley, and lentils. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove the pieces of chicken, pork and bacon and cut into small pieces. Return everything to the pot.
  7. Season to taste.
  8. Enjoy!
