Nectarines, mozzarella and hot Italian sausages salad

  • 1 package

    (450g) Dalisa hot Italian sausages

  • 2

    tomatoes, cut into wedges

  • 2

    mini cucumbers, thinly sliced

  • 2

    nectarines, diced

  • 1

    garlic clove, minced

  • ¼

    red onion, thinly sliced

  • ¼ cup

    boiling water

  • 2 tbsp.

    white wine vinegar

  • 1 tbsp.


  • ¼ cup

    olive oil

  • Fresh basil, to taste

  • 100g to 125g

    fresh mozzarella

  • Store-bought (or homemade) croutons

  • Salt and pepper


  1. In a bowl, combine the onion, boiling water, ¼ cup vinegar and honey. Add a good pinch of salt. Let stand while preparing the other ingredients.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet. Add the sausages and bake for 15 minutes. Flip halfway through cooking.
  3. For the vinaigrette, combine the olive oil, 2 tbsp. tablespoon vinegar, honey and garlic clove.
  4. In a bowl, place the tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, nectarines and croutons. Add the dressing and mix well.
  5. Just before serving, add the sliced ​​sausage and pieces of fresh mozzarella. Garnish with basil, salt and pepper.
