Sausages Shepherd’s Pie

Ingredients

  • 4

    large potatoes

  • 1 tbsp

    of olive oil

  • 4

    Dalisa Shallots & White Wine sausages

  • 1 lb

    of lean ground beef

  • 1

    yellow onion

  • 2 cans

    of corn kernels

  • 1 can

    of creamed corn

  • 1/4

    of a brick of Mamirolle cheese

  • 1/4 lb

    of unsalted butter

  • 1

    green shallot

Preparation

  1. Cube the potatoes and cook them in boiling water for about 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Cook the sausage flesh, ground beef and minced onion for about 10 to 15 minutes. Drain and put in a deep dish.
  3. Distribute the canned corn over the meat in the dish.
  4. Grate the cheese.
  5. Mash the potatoes. Add the grated cheese, butter and shallots. Season. Spread the mashed potatoes over the corn.
  6. Bake to brown the cheese and potatoes.
