Slow cooker Italian Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 10

    Italian Dalisa sausages

  • 3

    celery stalks (chopped)

  • 1

    large yellow onion (chopped)

  • 2

    cans of diced tomatoes with herbs

  • 1

    small pot of store-bought salsa

  • 2

    garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tsp

    of dried oregano

  • 2 tsp

    of dried basil

  • 2 tbsp

    of olive oil

  • Fresh Parmesan cheese

Preparation

  1. Remove the casing from the sausages and form 30 meatballs with the flesh.
  2. Add all the ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours. Check the doneness of the meatballs.
  3. Serve the meatballs over rice or pasta. Sprinkle with fresh Parmesan to taste.
