Spaghetti Sauce in the Slow Cooker

  • Baking — 6 hours

Ingredients

  • 1 lb

    of ground beef

  • 450 g

    of Dalisa Italian sausage (hot or mild)

  • 1 tsp

    of olive oil

  • 1 can

    of diced tomatoes (398 ml)

  • 1 can

    of tomato paste (156 ml)

  • 1 large

    onion (diced)

  • 3

    celery stalks (diced)

  • 1

    red bell pepper (diced)

  • 2

    garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 tsp

    of maple syrup

  • Spaghetti spices to taste

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet.
  2. Cook ground beef, drain, then transfer to the slow cooker.
  3. Cook the sausages in the pan while breaking the flesh with a wooden spoon. Drain and transfer to the slow cooker.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.
