Lentil and Sausage Stew

Dalisa Italian sausages

Dalisa Chorizo sausages

onion, chopped

celery stalks, chopped

2
carrots, chopped

2
garlic cloves

1
bay leaf
-
1 tbsp
of dried thyme
-
1 cup
of lentils
-
3
cups of chicken broth
-
Pinch
of salt and pepper
Preparation
- In a saucepan, brown the Italian sausages in a little oil without cooking them completely. Reserve.
- In the same saucepan, color the flesh of the Chorizo sausages. Reserve.
- Sweat the onion, celery, carrot and garlic for 4 minutes. Return the sausages to the pot.
- Add the thyme, bay leaf, lentils and chicken broth. Simmer until the lentils are cooked through and the broth has reduced.
