Lentil and Sausage Stew

Ingredients

  • 6

    Dalisa Italian sausages

  • 4

    Dalisa Chorizo sausages

  • 1

    onion, chopped

  • 2

    celery stalks, chopped

  • 2

    carrots, chopped

  • 2

    garlic cloves

  • 1

    bay leaf

  • 1 tbsp

    of dried thyme

  • 1 cup

    of lentils

  • 3

    cups of chicken broth

  • Pinch

    of salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, brown the Italian sausages in a little oil without cooking them completely. Reserve.
  2. In the same saucepan, color the flesh of the Chorizo sausages. Reserve.
  3. Sweat the onion, celery, carrot and garlic for 4 minutes. Return the sausages to the pot.
  4. Add the thyme, bay leaf, lentils and chicken broth. Simmer until the lentils are cooked through and the broth has reduced.
