Giant Air Fryer Nachos

Ingredients

Nachos

  • 1

    package Mexican sausage (450g)

  • 1

    corn chips

  • 1/2 cup

    canned red beans

  • 1/2 cup

    sliced black olives

  • 1/4 cup

    marinated hot banana peppers

  • 320g

    Tex Mex shredded cheese

  • 650 ml

    store-bought salsa

  • 5 tbsp.

    store-bought cheese sauce

  • 1/2 cup

    sour cream

  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Pico de Gallo

  • 1

    tomato, diced

  • 1

    yellow onion, diced

  • 1

    hot pepper, finely chopped

  • The juice of one lime

  • 1/4 cup

    fresh cilantro, chopped

Guacamole

  • 4

    ripe avocados, diced

  • The juice of 2 limes

  • 1/4 cup

    store-bought salsa

  • 1/2 tbsp.

    hot pepper flakes

  • 1/4 cup

    fresh cilantro, chopped

  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Pico de Gallo

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.

Guacamole

  1. In a bowl, mash the avocados using a fork.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside.
  3. If preparing the guacamole in advance, cover with plastic wrap to prevent oxidation.

Nachos

  1. Remove the sausages from their casings and crumble the meat into a preheated pan over medium-high heat, adding a drizzle of olive oil. Set aside.
  2. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  3. Cover the bottom with corn chips, then sprinkle with sausage meat, beans, olives, hot peppers, and cheese. Pour a little salsa.
  4. Repeat the layers until reaching the top of the container. On the last layer, add a generous amount of cheese.
  5. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer the nachos to a large serving plate. Add the warm cheese sauce and a few spoonfuls of sour cream.
  7. When serving, sprinkle with cilantro. Enjoy with the pico de gallo and guacamole.
