Mexican sausage pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 package

    Dalisa Mexican sausages (450g)

  • 1

    chopped onion

  • 1

    red bell pepper, diced

  • 1

    avocado, diced

  • 1/2 cup

    chopped cilantro

  • 1/3 cup

    jalapeño hummus

  • 1/3 cup

    Kalamata olives, sliced

  • 4

    naan breads

  • 1 cup

    habanero cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Remove the casings from the sausages. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over high heat. Sauté the sausage meat for 5 minutes, breaking it up with a spoon and stirring frequently. Set aside.
  3. Spread a generous amount of jalapeño hummus on each of the naan breads.
  4. Add onions, red bell pepper, and olives.
  5. Distribute the sausage meat onto the 4 pizzas and top with cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven at 350°F for 15 minutes or until the cheese is golden.
  7. Add a few slices of avocado and garnish with cilantro.
  8. Serve with sour cream or plain Greek yogurt.
