Nachos with Pico De Gallo

Ingredients

Pico De Gallo

  • 2 tbsp

    of red onion (finely chopped)

  • 3

    roma tomatoes (finely diced)

  • 1

    garlic clove (minced)

  • 1/2

    lime (juice and zest)

  • 2 tbsp

    of fresh cilantro (chopped)

  • 1 to 2

    jalapeno (seeds removed and finely chopped)

  • Salt and pepper

Nachos

  • 1 tsp

    of butter

  • 4

    Dalisa Mexican sausages (or any other flavour)

  • 1 bag

    of corn chips

  • 2 cups

    of grated Monterrey Jack cheese

  • Sour cream

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the Pico De Gallo. Reserve.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the butter. Cook the sausages in the pan, breaking up the flesh with a wooden spoon to obtain a texture similar to ground meat. Drain the fat and set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400 ° F.
  4. On a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spread half the chips. Top with half the cheese and half the meat. Add a second row of chips, cheese and meat. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is well melted.
  5. Before serving, garnish with Pico De Gallo. Serve with sour cream.
