Sausage and Cheese Skewers

Ingredients

yellow bell pepper

red bell pepper

red onion

block of Halloumi cheese (or any other cheese that doesn’t melt)

Dalisa sausages of your choice

wooden skewers (soaked in water at least 15 minutes)
Preparation
- Roughly chop the vegetables and the cheese.
- On a clean work surface, place a sausage horizontally. Insert the 4 skewers into this sausage, so that it is held by each of the picks. (See video for method)
- Thread, like a regular skewer, the vegetables, cheese cubes and other sausages, until the skewers are full. You then get 4 skewers, joined together by the sausages.
- Grill the 4 skewers on the BBQ. Once cooked, cut the sausages to form 4 separate skewers.
