Greek Meatball with Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 450 g

    of Dalisa sausages

  • 1/4 cup

    of Panko breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup

    of feta cheese, crumbled

  • 1/4 cup

    of sundried tomatoes in oil, chopped

  • 1

    clove of garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp

    of fresh oregano, chopped

Tzatziki sauce

  • 1/2 cup

    of grated cucumber

  • 1/2 cup

    of plain Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cup

    of chopped fresh mint

  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat the BBQ to 450°F. Clean and oil the BBQ grills.
  2. Combine all the ingredients for the sauce. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients for the meatballs.
  4. Form 24 balls with about 2 tbsp of the preparation.
  5. Thread the meatballs onto wooden picks like skewers.
  6. Grill the skewers for 6 to 8 minutes over indirect heat. Turn them every 2 minutes.
  7. Serve the sauce in a bowl and the meatballs on toothpicks. Enjoy as an appetizer.
