Mexican papillote

Ingredients

  • 8

    Dalisa Mexican sausages

  • 1

    jalapeno pepper

  • 2

    red bell peppers

  • 1 bouquet

    of green onions (shallots)

  • 1 cup

    of salsa

  • 2

    limes

  • 1 1/2 cups

    of Monterey Jack cheese

  • Fresh coriander to taste

  • Sour cream to taste

Preparation

  1. Grill sausages on the BBQ. Set aside once cooked.
  2. Cut the lime into half and grill them on the BBQ. Set aside.
  3. Cut peppers into cubes. Slice shallots and cooked sausages.
  4. Put the ingredients in an aluminum wrap, except for coriander, sour cream and shallots.
  5. Cook for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is at your convenience.
  6. When serving, sprinkle coriander, shallots and sour cream on top. Serve with either tortillas or Mexican rice.
