Sausage and Pepper Tortilla

    Dalisa sausages (flavour of your choice)

  • 1

    red bell pepper

  • 1

    green bell pepper

  • 8

    tortillas

  • 1 tbsp

    of olive oil

  • 1 cup

    of grated cheese of your choice

Preparation

This recipe is taken from the Dalisa Junior section

  1. Start by cooking the sausages. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place the sausages on a baking sheet and, with the help of an adult, bake the sausages for 15 minutes in the oven. Halfway through cooking, at 7 minutes, turn the sausages.
  2. Cut the cooked sausages in 2, lengthwise, be careful not to burn yourself, the cooked sausages can be very hot.
  3. Cut the peppers into strips, taking care to remove the seeds.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan, and add the pepper when it's hot. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Meanwhile, place the tortillas in a baking dish and cover them with foil. Put them in the oven for about 6 minutes.
  6. To serve, place 2 strips of sausage and a few strips of peppers on one side of the tortillas. Be careful not to use too much otherwise you will not be able to roll the tortillas. Add a little grated cheese.
  7. Fold one part towards the centre, then the 2 edges together to form a roll.
  8. To serve you can add a little mayonnaise if you like it! Enjoy your meal !
